Smile Team was established in 2018 by Dr. Bansi Mithani Doescher after spending the prior 8 years working as an associate in private practice. Dr. Doescher’s vision was clear,  create a modern and relaxed environment with the latest dental technology that is accessible to everyone without cutting any corners. What is meant by accessible? Smile Team is in network with a comprehensive list of dental insurances to ensure your cost of care is affordable.

What to expect

For your first visit to Smile Team, you will need to fill out the “New Patient Registration” that was emailed to your address on file when you made an appointment or via our “New Patients” menu in our navigation bar for Adults or Children. If you prefer to complete the new patient registration form in the office, please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment.

On your first visit the dentist will review your dental and medical history form, your dental x-rays (if you have ones sent to us from another office) or we will take new x-rays if required. One of our amazing Dentists will then perform an exam and discuss all the findings and present all options for treatment (if treatment is needed). After that the Dentist will answer all your questions or concerns.  To be as effective as possible, you may want to bring a list with your dental health questions to your visit to make sure they are addressed by the Dentist.

What to bring

When you visit Smile Team for the first time, please remember to bring a photo ID card and your dental insurance card if you have dental insurance.

Parking

If you are visiting our Center City Philadelphia location, Love Park Garage is the most convenient way to park in the area. Parking can be booked ahead of time via iParkit. Once parked, 2 Penn Center is located directly across the street from Love Park. Street parking is available in the immediate area, but hard to come by.

If you are visiting our Northeast Philadelphia location, parking is available in our parking lot free of charge.

Parking is available on the street at our Olney and Upper Darby locations.

Public Transportation

Smile Team can be accessed by various forms of public transportation. 2 Penn Center can be directly accessed underground via Suburban Station. If you need any help locating our office, please feel free to call our office.

Cancellation

We understand that our patients are busy and emergencies can come up that affect your schedule. We ask that you provide our office with 24 hour notice of any appointment cancellations or requests for a new appointment time.

Emergency Appointments

If you are having a dental emergency, please call our office at (215) 709-0001 so that we can determine the best course of action to make sure that any dental issues you may be having are addressed. If calling after normal business hours, please follow the prompts to reach a Dentist after hours if you are having a dental emergency.
